1. Jimmy Bruen Shield

Qualifying Round Sunday 1^st May 2016

Portstewart Strand Course

Format

• Foursomes Medal & Foursomes Matchplay
• Combined lowest playing h/cap of pair = 17 in 2015
• All players must have had congu h/cap in 2015 with 4 qualifying scores
• No player can have had a h/cap of less than 6 in 2015

2. Pierce Purcell Shield

Qualifying  Round Sunday 8^th May 2016

Bushfoot Golf Club

Format

• Foursomes Medal and Foursomes Matchplay
• Team of 10 players (5xpairs) who must be over 16 on 1/1/16
• Combined lowest playing h/cap of pair no less than 27 in 2015

3. Mixed Foursomes

Qualifying Round Sunday 15^th May 2016

Cushendall Golf Club

Format

• Foursomes Medal & Foursomes Matchplay
• Men drive off on the 1^st Tee
• Team of 5 male and 5 female
• Combined h/cap must not have been lower than 19 in 2015
• Max h/cap allowance is 27.
• All players must have Congu h/cap – 4 qualifying scores – in 2015
• Medal h/cap allowance = ½ combined h/cap ( ½ shot apply)
• Matchplay h/cap allowance = ½ full difference of combined handicaps
• Mens card operates for stroke allowance

4. Junior Cup

Qualifying Round Sunday 29^th May 2016

Strabane Golf Club

Format

• Team of 5 players
• Singles medal or singles matchplay
• All matches played off scratch
• Players must have had a congu h/cap in 2015 of no less than 5 (4 cards)

5. Senior Cup

Qualifying Round Sunday 22^nd May 2016

Portsalon Golf Club

Format

• Team of 5 players who play off scratch in medal qualifying round and matchplay thereafter

6. Barton Shield

Qualifying Round Sunday 12^th June 2016

Castlerock Golf Club

Format

• Team of 4 players (2xpairs) playing off scratch
• Qualifying round is Foursomes
• In matchplay each match must be played over 18 holes and the aggregate of holes up to decide the winning team
• The second match continues in sudden death format

7. Ulster Cup

1^st Round v Shandon Park (Away + Home)

To be played by 18^th April 2016

Format

• Team of 7 players playing individual matchplay off scratch
• Each player must be 30 on 1/1/16 and have a h/cap of no less than 10 in 2015 ( 4 qualifying cards)

8. Ulster (Irish) Fourball Trophy

1^st Round v Mourne (Away + Home)

To be played by 16^th May 2016

Format

• Team of 10 players (5xpairs)
• Fourball matches played off scratch
• All players must be over 35 with a minimum h/cap of 17 in 2015 (4 qualifying scores)
• No Caddies permitted

9. Fred Daly Trophy

1^st Round v Bushfoot (Home + Away)

To be played by Monday 11^th April 2016

Format

• Team of 7 playing singles matches off scratch
• All players must be under 18 on 1/1/2016
