On Wednesday 27th July over 100 ladies took part in our Lady Presidents Day. With favourable weather conditions and the course in superb condition, hopes were high among our ladies that some good scores would be achieved. Lady President Anne Paul welcomed the players with gifts and a glass of wine before their tee-off. On completion of the golfing side of proceedings, the ladies returned to the clubhouse for an evening meal and prize giving. A lively and relaxed evening culminated in the presentation of prizes by our Lady President. During the presentation of prizes, Lady President thanked all the ladies who took part in the day’s competition, their generosity in raising a substantial sum for her chosen charity – Marie Curie and making the day a memorable one for her and her family.
